Thank you to everyone that voted for our project, even if it was just one vote. We have received our entire $250,000 disbursement check from Pepsi and our weight room is currently under construction!
Thank you to everone that helped us spread the word about the Pepsi Refresh Everything competition! We took the Mule Nation viral and won $250,000 to construct a new Weight Room Facility at Bedford High School. The new room will allow us to expand physical education for all students, provide space for a new weight room, and create space for the first ever wrestling room. Once the room is completed, Mule Muscle Inc will donate it to the Bedford Public School system.
Bedford, like many districts across the nation, is in tough economic times. A victory in this national contest would do so much more than build an addition on to the school. Not only would it teach today's students and future generations about lifelong health, it would be a hopeful sign for an economically battered region that good things are on the horizon.
